Good Shepherd School & Orphanage (Short
Term) Brief description and
main aims The idea of setting up an orphanage
was conceived in 1987, when the founder and father of the orphanage, Bishop
Kwaku Addei, was called and ordained as a servant of God. Bishop Addei started realizing his
dream by acting as a foster father for needy children, during this time he
nurtured and assisted a number of helpless children. The orphanage was eventually set up
in the year 2002 following Bishop Addei's encounter with God, urging him to
start the project. Initially ten orphans were admitted in the home. The Good
Shepherd Orphanage was registered as legal in the year 2004. The main aim of the Good Shepherd
